Part 1: Grace Changes Everything

In this first session we will look at the Father’s amazing gift of grace, providing salvation through faith in the saving work of Christ alone. This grace cannot be merited or earned, but it is a free gift of the Father that when we accept it, transfers us from death to life in Christ.

Part 2: Water Baptism

In this second session, we will look at the meaning and importance of water baptism. Jesus said, “If you love me you will do as I say”; we look at this step of obedience and ask if there is any area of our lives that we need to surrender to Christ and walk in obedience.

Part 3: Baptism in the Holy Spirit

In this third session, we look at the Person of the Holy Spirit. Being born again is like lighting a boiler’s pilot light: the Holy Spirit awakens us to Christ and makes His dwelling within us. But there is more. Scripture speaks of the Spirit bringing dynamic power. This is like the moment the burner ignites in the boiler, releasing God’s power to fuel our worship, our service, and our witness to the world.

Part 4: The Body

In this fourth session, we see that although our differences can sometimes be challenging or cause conflict, we are meant to live together in community. Each person brings their own gifts, talents, and passions to the church for everyone’s benefit and to honour God. The purpose is for God’s glory to be shown to the world through a diverse church, where every unique gift, empowered by theSpirit, comes together in unity to honour Jesus Christ as Lord.

Part 5: Servant Leadership

In this fifth session, we explore how biblical leadership is fundamentally ‘upside down’ compared to the power structures of the world. While the world often prioritises status, control, and charisma, God’s primary requirement for those in authority is Christlike character. We are called to be men and women of integrity whose mission is to serve those in our care, equipping the whole body to reach spiritual maturity.

Part 6: Count Me In

In this sixth and final session, we explore the deep passion Jesus has for His Church. She is His joy, His bride, and His ‘Plan A’ for extending His kingdom to the ends of the earth. We believe that following Jesus isn’t just about believing in a set of ideas; it’s about belonging to a family where you are truly ‘counted in’. Our mission is to bring the life of Christ to a lost and broken world, and the question we ask today is simple: Will you join us and be ‘counted in’ alongside us?
